Rules of Use of HYPERMEDIALAB Payment Services

As indicated in the “HypermediaLAB Payment Services Terms and Conditions“, the way you access and use the different HypermediaLAB Payment Services may vary. Below we explain the rules of use of each type of Payment Service, although they may change as we add new functions, devices and content to the services. For more information, you can also visit the HypermediaLAB Support Center.

Rentals and Purchases of templates

Some types of Payment Services allow you to buy or rent video items made available by third parties. You can view templates and videos rented or purchased online, with a broadband internet connection and as long as you are logged into your HypermediaLAB account. You will also be able to view some templates and videos rented or purchased offline (without an Internet connection) as long as you watch them on previously authorized devices. To authorize or deauthorize a device, you must be connected to the Internet. Due to restrictions from our content providers, you may not be able to purchase or view templates or videos purchased or rented outside of the country where you made the transaction.

Rental content: if you rent a template or video, you will be able to watch it as many times as you want during the time period specified at the time of payment (“Viewing Period”), also indicated in the confirmation email. The Viewing Period will not be extended even if you pause, stop or rewind the rented content. Each rented template or video has a different Viewing Period, so please check it before finalizing the transaction. You can’t view rented content on more than one device at a time.

Purchased content: If you buy a template or video, it will be stored in a digital video library so that you can watch it as many times as you want during the “Storage Period”. The Storage Period has a minimum duration of 5 years from the time of purchase (this duration is subject to the restrictions described in the “Terms and Conditions of HypermediaLAB Payment ServicesB“). Each template or video purchased has a different Storage Period and you must confirm it before making the purchase. The Storage Period will not be extended even if you pause, pause or rewind the purchased content. When it comes to purchased content, you cannot watch more than one stream of the same template or purchased video simultaneously, although you can watch a maximum of 3 different streams simultaneously.

Subscriptions to paid channels-HUBs

Some types of Payment Services allow you to access a HypermediaLAB channel-HUB or channel-HUBs package made available by third parties (each with different content) in exchange for a single or recurring subscription fee. If you subscribe to a channel-HUB or channel package-HUBs, you will be able to see the content available at all times in that subscription as many times as you want. Our partners may decide to periodically update the content they make available in the subscription and some videos may no longer be available or become free. You will only be able to watch videos of your subscriptions if you are connected to the Internet, if you have a broadband connection and if you have signed in with your HypermediaLAB account. However, in some cases you will be able to access content offline for a limited period of time. Due to restrictions from our content providers, you may not be able to view the videos of the channels you have subscribed to outside of the country in which you made the transaction.
